Adolescent Sexual Health in the Digital Age: Provider and Parent Assessment of Knowledge and Need
This study is a collaboration with the Act for Youth Center for Excellence and is intended to assess current strategies and resource needs related to how technology affects adolescent sexual health (e.g. sexting, hook-up apps, pornography). Through focus groups, interviews and surveys we've assessed the knowledge and perceptions of youth, parents, and professionals. We hope to translate our findings into a set of recommendations for parents and providers.
Upcoming Project Activities
Conduct additional interviews with professionals and parents
Re-launch an existing survey to a broader network of youth-serving professionals and parents
Develop recommendations for parents and youth based on findings
